The disc of this copy looks lovely and still has its nice sheen. Both sides shows no nasty defects like scratches, scuffs and lines. Both sides of the LP plays lovely with only some very minor crackle at the very beginning and run-out of both sides and here and there between tracks. All the music plays loud and clear.
Both labels looks really clean with only one or two very tiny spindle marks, proving this disc has not seen many record players during its 53 years.
The sleeve of this copy is in EX condition. The delicate unlaminated gatefold is fully intact The front and back are lovely with only some very minor age wear. The bottom and edges shows minor storage wear.
The fragile spine is intact and fully readable. The opening is nice and sharp. The inside of the gatefold is lovely!

Manfred Mann is a well known artist released a lot of great Beat songs in the late 60’s. During the early 70’s Manfred Mann focus more on the Progressive movement which became very popular around that time. His first band with a far more progressive sound is “Chapter Three”.
The band released two very good progressive jazz rock albums on the legendary Vertigo Swirl label. Both came out in 1970. The LP up for sale here is the second album. The UK issue was issued in a unlaminated gatefold sleeve with amazing artwork done by Marcus Keef.
Musically this is an amazing album. Heavy progressive jazz rock with a unique sound! Both Chapter 3 albums are not to be missed pieces for the serious 70’s Progressive Rock collector.
