Up for sale here is a mega rare 1st Japanese pressing top copy of “The Best Of Deep Purple” with the original corner OBI in top condition. The copy must one of the very few still out there in this condition!
We can be short about the disc. It’s in immaculate condition. Shop fresh! Visual and playgraded M- for sure. The disc plays like it was bought yesterday. It has no nasty defects at all. This Japanese Polydor pressing is a top quality pressing. Thick quality vinyl. Both labels are super clean with no spindle traces at all. It’s nearly impossible to find another copy in this condition.
Also the heavy cardboard gatefold sleeve is in top condition. Overall I grade it EX+. It’s fully intact. The bottom left and right corner only shows a very minor bumb. Overall nothing serious IMO. The OBI is amazing and fully intact! The spine is nice and fully readable. The inside of the gatefold shows a few minor age spots but further it’s perfect!
This copy comes with the correct original Polydor rice paper inner sleeve.

The album is released in a top quality thick cardboard gatefold as we often with Japanese releases. This copy is complete with stunning corner triangle OBI and original Polydor rice paper inner sleeve.
Important to know is that this album was never released with an insert which is quite unusual for Japanese albums.
