Original copies of the third and final Spirogyra album released during the Golden Era almost never pops up for sale but in the condition this copy is, must be extremely rare nowadays!
We can be very short about the disc. It is in M- condition. It is like new. The music plays loud and clear with only the slightest of crackle druring the beginning and run-out of both sides! What a beautiful copy!! The vinyl surface looks like new with no nasty defects at all. I wish all records from this age has this condition!! Both labels are super clean!!
The non-laminated extremely fragile single cover is in EX+ condition. The sleeve is extremely hard to find in top condition. The abscence of laminate combined with dark green colours and poor quality, we have a perfect mixture to create extremely fragile covers. This copy survived really good is almost in dream condition.
The fron is lovely with a super tiny spot “I” of the bands name “Spirogyra” and some minimal ring near the top edge.Further it’s perfect.
The back of the sleeve is lovely with only some minimal storage wear near the top and bottom edges. The spine is nice and fully readable. The opening shows minor wear but nothing serious at all.
This copy comes with the correct original inner sleeve. So we have a complete package here!

“Spyrogyra” is a British Progressive/Folk Rock outfit which founded in Bolton, Lancashire in 1967. The founders are Martin Cockerham and Mark Francis. Further members are Barbara Gaskin and Steve Borrill.
Many collectors of rare UK Folk albums have a sharp focus on this group. The first 3 studio albums are very collectable among collectors. But the third is the best and most wanted by collectors.
“Bells, Boots, And Shambles” is the third album by the band and contains 7 amazing Folk Rock tracks. The songs are superb arranged. The musicianship is fantastic and also the vocals very good. Typical UK Progressive Folk Rock with some psychedelic influences here and there!
