Rarity Scale: Mega Rare
One of the best Folk/Psych albums from the UK on the highly collectable Deram Nove label! And it’s in MONO!!
This is an amazing copy of this album! The disc plays lovely without any major issues. Maybe one or two very tiny pops (pressing?) Both sides are amazing! There is some minimal background but to be honest, we can’t give that a name. We believe these Deram Nova pressings are quality pressings. Much better than most pressings from the era. The labels are in amazing condition with only one or two spindle traces. Overall we grade this disc EX+.
The sleeve is in EX condition. THe fragile front laminated single sleeve has some wear on the unlaminated back. It also has some minor ring wear. The spine and opening are in lovely order. The spine is fully readable.
The front of the sleeve is in EX+ condition.
This copy comes with the correct original Decca/Deram mono inner sleeve.

Sound of Sunforest is a true lost gem! We found this album one of the favourite titles on the label and IOHO it is one the best folk/psych albums ever made. Two songs really jumps out: “Where are You” and “Magician in the Mountain”. Both are songs with a massive psychedelic vibe. Magician in the Mountain combines it also with a funky melody. Soooo damn amazing!!
Back in 1969 Sunforest was give a chance by Deram Nova to release a debut album. As most albums did, also this album flopped. Eventhough it flopped, one track (“Overture To The Sun”) was used in the cult movie “A Clockwork Orange”.
This album is one of the most wanted on the Deram Nova label and very hard to locate nowadays. A mono copy is even harder!! If you want to own a lovely mono copy of this album? Don’t hesitate and grab it while you can!;)
