Here we have the debut album by one of the best known Folk Rock outfit from the UK released on the mighty UK “Mercury Label”.
The disc of this album is in lovely condition. Overall we grade this disc NM. It plays immaculate all the way trhrough on both sides! It has minimal crackle at the very beginning and ending of both sides (pressing) which is completely normal.
The labels looks very clean with a few spindle traces. A real nice copy for many serious rare record collectors.
The sleeve is in EX+ condition. It has some minor storage wear near the bottom edges. The fully laminated single sleeve has some small banana creases near the opening. The back of the sleeve has some minor storage wear but overall nothing serious.
The spine is really prefect and fully readable. The opening of the sleeve is really nice.

“Magna Carta” is a well know UK folk/folk rock band released their most populair work during the Golden Era. Their debut album was released on the “Mercury” label which was part op Philips. Another known and highly wanted release on this album was “Ancient Grease”.
Their second and third studio album were released on the mighty “Vertigo” label, also part of Philips.
Magna Carta was born in April 1969 in London, UK. On May the 10th in that year, “Magna Carta” did their first live performance.
The band is still active today but with a different line-up.
The music on this album is typical UK Folk/Folk Rock which is very nice to listen to. The songs are very well arranged and the musicianship is great.
