Rarity Scale: Very Rare
A Krautrock classic released on the legendary Vertigo Swirl label. This is the UK 1st pressing with a UK vinyl and a German made fully laminated single sleeve.
The vinyl of this copy is absolutely amazing! The labels are clean in it plays without any distortion. There is some minimal background and the beginning (pressing) but further is plays the music loud and clear. Overall we grade it NM.
The sleeve is EX+. It has no tears and writing. The fully laminted sleeve has only a few very tiny wrinkles and is minimal rough at the opening. The left bottom corner has a very tiny bump but that’s it. Overall we must grade this at least EX+.
The record comes in it’s original and correct inner sleeve.

A large selection of rare vinyl records from the golden era.
Atlantis was a band formed in 1972 and was born out of Frumpy. Another famous krautrock band active from 1970 to 1972 and later reformed in 1989 till 1992.
Atlantis consisted 5 talented musicians, Inga Rumph, Jean-Jacques Kravetz, Karl-Hein Schott, Frank Diez and Curt Cress. Latet Karl-Hein and Curt were later replaced but playing on this awesome debut. All the lyrics are in English.
The music is krautrock but to our ears a bit less experimental than say Frumpy. It has some blues influences as well. It is a bit easier to follow compared to the more complex krautrock music from the era.
Overall this album is a must have for every krautrock lover.
