Condition Disc Excellent-
Condition Sleeve Mint (New sealed)
Condition Inner sleeve + Insert Excellent

A fantastic piece of music. A lovely combination of classical and progressive influences brought together on this album.

This is a 1st pressing copy of the Gemini Suite released on the collectable “Purple” label. The vinyl of this is a good EX-. It is fully play graded. We mentioned some background crackles here and a very occasional pop (pressing), but this never overpowers the music. The vinyl has some marks due to it was in a polylined inner for a very long time. Overall this is a lovely copy of this rare piece and still very enjoyable.
The sleeve is a good EX+. The fragile textured sleeve has some minor rubbing at the opening.  The spine is near perfect. The front and back sleeve are near perfect with a very tiny crease on the back. The inside of the gatefold is also near perfect. There is no writing, tears or other damages. Overall a EX+ gatefold. The record comes with its original EMI polylined inner sleeve

About this record.

Many records on the Purple label has a connection to “Deep Purple”. This record makes no exception.  Roger Glover plays bass on this album, and the music was originally written as a commission for the BBC. It was first performed at the “Festival Hall” with Deep Purple and the “Orchestra of the Light Music Society” in September 1970.
