What we have here is a German pressing of the UK psych gem “Arzachel”. A highly sought after record.
The disc of this copy is in OK condition. Both sides produce some background here and there. If you want a very quiet playback, this copy is not the one for you. Overall we grade the disc VG to VG+. The labels are in OK condition but Side-A has a owner stampt.
The sleeve is in VG condition. It has some damages near the bottom of the sleeve. On the back there is also a owners stamp. The spine and opening are in OK condition.
Overall we must say this is not the best copy around, but it is a acceptable copy for the collector who can live with the fact the record is more than 50 years old. The price makes this copy more interesting.

Arzachel was a band formed around 1969 and released one album in 1969 simply called “Arzachel”. The album was released in several countries like off course the UK but also Germany, France and the US.
The band was the reformation of Uriel who changed their name into Egg in January 1969 after Steve Hillage left. Egg made a record deal with Decca in the time and released a debut album on Deram Nova and later albums on Deram and Decca. At the same time as they started to work with Decca as Egg, they were also given an offer by another label to release a psychedelic album. Therefore they reunited with Steve Hillage under the name Arzachel in June 1969 and released the album “Arzachel”. After this album the “Arzachel” project disappeared in obscurity.
