Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
A beautiful Italian progressive rock album from 1979! This is a later released Italian prog album but a mega rare one!
The disc looks lovely but we must admit this is not the best pressing on the planet. You hear that in the slight surface sound there is. You have this with all the original copies. The vinyl still has it’s full sheen and looks amazing.
The labels are very clean with minimal spindle traces. Overall we grade the vinyl Ex to EX+.
The sleeve is lovely. The only issue is the split at the spine. It’s tiny but it’s there. Overall the sleeve looks lovely with nice edges. The right bottom corner of the sleeve has a tiny bumb but further it’s great. No stains, no larger creases, no tears. The spine is readable. The opening is ok. Overall we grade the single matt sleeve EX. It’s no EX+ because of the tiny split.

About this record.
La Sorgente is an Italian progressive rock act who released only one album back in 1979. The band consists 6 members. All the songs are in Italian. The album was released on the Italian “EUN” label which released more Italian (prog)rock albums during the same period in the late 70’s.
The music is soft progressive with great vocals and lovely instrumental passages. Instruments like violin, Xylophone and keyboard make the sound more unique.
If you love Italian prog which is a bit more easy to listen this album is something for you! Besides it’s good music, this album became really rare and therefore is also a very good investment.
