Rarity Scale: Very Rare
A great Welsh progressive rock album on the mighty “Dawn” label.
The disc of this copy is in great condition! It plays without any issues. Only some light crackle here and there. There are no pops and ticks. This Dawn disc is translucent like all the vinyls from the early 70’s released on Dawn.
Both labels are clean with only one or two spindle traces. Overall a lovely disc so we grade it EX+.
The sleeve is amazing with only very minor wear near the edges. The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is in lovely order.
The sleeve has one tiny tear near the opening. That’s the only default the sleeve has. The spine is fullt readable and the opening is sharp.
This copy comes with its original inner sleeve.

Quicksand was a Welsh progressive rock band originally formed in the South of Wales.
The group was formed around 1970 and disbanded around 1973/1974.
As the album sleeve says, they were very popular, even far outside their own home area. We are not sure about that;).
The band released only one album and 2 singles. There only studio album was released in 1973
The group consisted 4 members: Jimmy Davies, Robert Collins, Anthony Stone and Phil Davies.
The music on this album progressive rock. In the progressive spectrum the music is more easy listening.
The artwork of the cover was done by The Ruby Mazur Studio.
