Rarity Scale: Mega Rare
A German krautrock classic from 1971 on the highly collectable “Bacillus Records” label.
We grade the disc Near Mint. It’s simply amazing. Only on the very beginning of both sides there is some background (pressing). Both labels are like new (mint-). All the music plays further without any distortion. A beautiful piece for every rare record collector.
The sleeve is also amazing! The full laminated gatefold sleeve is on the outside definitely Near Mint. The spine is perfect and fully readable. The back of the sleeve is also lovely without any issues. The opening has some very small wear but absolutely nothing serious! The unlaminated inside with it’s amazing artwork is near perfect with only a small stain on the top. Nothing serious. Overall we grade the sleeve Near Mint.

My Solid Ground is a German krautrock band which released only one album in 1971 on the highly collectable “Bacillus Records” label. This album is a true krautrock grail for many and does very rarely shows up nowadays. We managed to track down a near perfect copy!
The music is a mixture of heavy psych and progressive tunes. Well arranged songs played by highly skilled musicians. People say that My Solid Ground was one of the most obscure bands in the Bacillus catalogue during the old days. Nowadays they are far better known around collectors.
The band started in 1968 in the German town of Rüsselsheim and has 4 members. Bernhard Rendel, Karl-Heinrich Dorfler, Andreas Würsching and Igo Werner.
The album was recorded in February and April 1971 in Koln-Stommeln.
