Rarity Scale – Very Rare
Here we have a very nice original French 1st pressing of the only album made by “Cruciferius”.
The disc of this album is in EX- condition. The visual grading of the vinyl surface is EX+ to NM and it also plays EX+ with only a minimal amount of crackle/background. Overall the playback is lovely and super enjoyable. The issue this disc has is the damaged side 1 label. It has a tear on the side 1 label due to a sticker. The labels of side 2 is fantastic. Both sides show only a very few spindle traces.
The super fragile shaped single sleeve is in VG+/EX- condition. It is fully intact and there is no writing or major tears. The right bottom corner shows a creas and is a bit rough. The front of the sleeve shows some very minor ring wear. Also the back shows some minor ring wear.
The spine is fully intact and very nice. The opening of the sleeve shows some minor wear.
Overall this is a very nice sleeve and a keeper for many serious record collectors but it is not fully perfect.
Finding perfect copies of this album is really difficult nowadays.
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

“Cruciferius” or “Cruciférius!” is a French progressive Jazz rock act which released only one album back in 1970 and one single in 1969. A bummer if you ask us because the music on this album is really good and unique. The very well crafted songs brings you a lovely combination of progressive jazz rock with Funk influences. Really great if you ask us!!
The band had 4 members Bernard Paganotti, François Bréant, Marc Perru and Patrick Jean.
The album was released on the French “EGG” label which a more known label among people interested in the French music scene. The label was firs launched in 1969 and folded in 1970 after releasing a couple of single and 2 progressive albums. The label was brought to life again in 1977 and was quite succesfull. The parent label is the French well known label “Barclay”.
