Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
Here we have a 1st French pressing of the Swiss act “Spot”. Amazing progressive rock! Originals albums of “Spot” in nice condition became super rare nowadays!
The disc of this album is in EX+ condition. Playgraded it is NM but side 1 shows a hairline. There is slight crackle at the very beginning and run-out of both sides but further it’s lovely! The hairline is not hearable. Further the surface of the vinyl is lovely! Both labels are really clean without writing. There are also no spindle traces!
The sleeve of this copy is in EX+ condition. The laminated gatefold has no major stains, creases and writing. It is lovely.
The front of the sleeve is near perfect and only shows some minor storage wear. The spine is intact and fully readable. The opening is nice and sharpt.
The back of the sleeve is also nice and only shows some minor storage wear. On the bottom right corner there is a shop sticker from a record shop in Switzerland. Probably the shop where it was sold new back in 1971.
This copy comes with the correct original inner sleeve.
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

A large selection of rare vinyl records from the golden era.
“Spot” was a Swiss psychedelic/progressice rock band based in Geneva. The band was a so called one album band and released their legendary album in 1971 on the French “Evasion” label which was specialized in folk and pop groups.
This album belongs to the most sought after albums from Switzerland.
As said, the album was released on a French label and also only released on that label on the 12′ vinyl format till 1997 when it was re-released on cd. Finally in 2016, an official reissue of the album on vinyl was released.
The music on the album is a great mixture of hard rock, progressive rock and psychedelic rock. The songs are amazing and brings you back to the very best The Golden Era had to offer us.
This album is a true must for most collectors of Krautrock and other progressive rock movements from the early 70’s!
