Defrosted is the 2nd album made by Frijid Pink from the USA. This is a UK 1st pressing.
UK Deram pressings are in our opinion lovely pressings and this one is no exception. This album is pressed in 1970 in thick quality vinyl. The playback is supurb with minimal background. The labels are nice and undamaged. The vinyl has some stains due to the old polylined Decca inner. This is a tiny default and has no single negative impact on the playback. We grade the disc EX+.
The front laminated single sleeve is in EX- condition. It has some issues like a hint of ringwear, some stains and a very small damage on the front. Further the sleeve is in undamaged condition. The unlaminated back is very nice and also the spine is near perfect. No tears or writing. It’s a lovely package for the more serious collectors among us.

Frijid Pink was an popular Detroit USA based bluesrock oufit. They were best know by there version of “House of the Rising Sun” released in 1969. In there own area they were very popular and also outside the United States they became more famous.
In the UK there albums were released on the legendary Deram label, part of Decca.
The line-up contained 4 artists (drummer, guitarist, bassist and a lead singer), later Larry Zelanka was added as off-staff keyboardist.
Frijid Pink released several albums but there first 2 albums are the best known. The debut album simply called “Frijid Pink” and there second album is this beauty up for sale here, called “Defrosted”. A beautiful addition to every American blues rock lover.
