A beautiful debut album by one of the most famous bands England has ever produced.
The vinyl of this mega rare UK 1st pressing mono gem is in lovely condition. Overall we grade it EX+. The disc looks a bit less but plays absolutely lovely M-. There is some slight background at the beginning of both sides (pressing). The fragile black Columbia labels looks near perfect.
The fragile single flipback cover is in much better condition than most copies pop up nowadays. It’s fully intact. The top right corner has a minor bumb, the back is a bit dirty (among the edges of the flips). The spine is fully readable and in great nick. The opening is not razor sharp but definitely not very rough. Take a look at the photos for a good impression. We grade the sleeve excellent.

About this record.
Almost everything we can say about Pink Floyd you already know;). This album is the debut by the band and is very psychedelic. The band has not found it’s own sound yet, but in the period this was made, this album really jumps out. It’s super trippy heavy psych and you can already hear the members have great talent. Piper at the Gates of Dawn became an icon and is now an album loved by many. Pressed in huge quantities over the years buth a UK 1st mono pressing on Columbia is the real deal if you ask us!
