Here we have a superb heavy prog album from the UK up for sale which became super scarce nowadays! Only 500 copies pressed in 1976!!
The disc is in stunning EX+ condition. I fully playgraded the album with the greatest and it plays stunning with only some very minor crackle at the very beginning and run-out on both sides and between tracks. All the music plays beautiful loud and clear. Visually the disc shows a few very minor marks. None of the are audible. Further the disc looks stunning with a shiny vinyl surface. Both labels looks very clean with only one spindle mark on both sides.
The very fragile front laminated single sleeve is also in EX+ condition. The laminate is fully intact and looks very clean. The rear of the cover, which is very sensitive for ringwear looks amazing with no ringwear at all!
The spine is lovely and fully readable. The opening shows very minor wear. Same goes for the bottom edge which shows very minor storage wear. Further the sleeve is stunning. Hyper rare in this condition nowadays!
This copy comes with the correct original white paper inner sleeve.

“England” (not to be confused by “England” which recorded “Garden Shed”), among collectors of progressive/heavy rock from the 70’s this is a well known album. It was released in 1976 on the legendary “Deroy” label. The album was only sold in local shops in the north of England and during gigs of the band. As said, only 500 copies were made.
England was a 3 headed heavy/progressive rock outfit the North of England only recorded one album in December 1976. Ben Eggleston, Olly Alcock and Phil Cook formed the band.
For lovers of Heavy Rock with Progressive influences this is a must have. Besides it’s a great album, this album is financially a good investment. Prices of this rare piece, if, in clean condition, will go up for sure.
