Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
From the UK-pressings of this album, this Ghost Cover with large photos and blue text is the most wanted by collectors.
The condition of this copy is amazing. Both of the records play NM. Visual and playgraded, both discs are fantastic! All four labels look lovely with only minimal spindle traces!
The sleeve is much better than most copies. The laminate is fully intact. There is a small bump on left bottom corner. The spine and opening are near perfect. The lamination on the outside is fully intact. The lamination on the inside is in great shape. Near the spine when you open the sleeve, the laminate crackles a bit but it’s still in great shape. Further this is an amazing sleeve and we give it an overall grade of EX+.
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

What we have here is a mega rare version of the legendary album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience called “Electric Ladyland”. The album was given the nickname “the Ghost text version” due to the printing default of the text. All letters are blue instead of white on the later copies. The labels lack the “record set” credit. A true gem!
The package comes with the original polylined inner sleeves.
Off course everybody knows the legendary Jimi Hendrix and his band “The Jimi Hendrix Experience”. They released three legendary albums “Are you Experienced, “Axis: Bold As Love” and Electric Ladyland”. Later Jimi was active in other outfits like “Band of Gypsys”.
The so called “nude sleeve” was only released in the UK back in 1968 on the collectable “Track records” label and was soon disbanded and replaced by another cover. Therefore this sleeve is very collectable among rare record collectors.
The music is well known. It consists a lot of blues rock and psychedelic rock elements. The guitar work is absolutely amazing!! The album contains some very big hits like “All along the Watchtower”, “Voodoo Chile” and “Crosstown Traffic”.
