Rarity Scale – Very Rare
Up for sale here is the second album by “The Deviants” called “Disposable”. Released in 1968 on the highly collectable “Stable Records” label.
We grade the disc a nice EX. Visual it looks not perfect. The vinyl surface shows a few tiny hairlines. They are all inaudible. The vinyl produces a tiny bit of backgound at the very beginning and run-out of both sides and between tracks. Further the music plays loud and clear and is super enjoyable. A keepers copy for most collectors. Both textured labels look very clean with only two or three spindle traces of both sides.
The sleeve is in VG+ to EX- condition. The super fragile paper thin cardcoard sleeve is laminated on the outside. The sleeve is fully intact and has no tears, writing and major stains on it. The top right corner has a crease. The top left corner shows some age wear. Also the bottom edge shows some storage wear.
The spine is fully intact and readable. The inside opening is perfect.
The back of the sleeve is OK with some minor lamination lift near the spine. The top left corner has a minor crease.

A large selection of rare vinyl records from the golden era.
Many record collectors with an focus on the UK psych scene from the late 60’s know “The Deviants”. The group released 3 great albums during the Golden Era.
The band was formed in the 60’s in Ladbroke Grove, London by Mick Farren. The group began as “The Social Deviants” later reduced to “The Deviants”.
“Ptooff!” was the debut album by the group and was first released in 1968 on the “Underground Impresarios” independent record label.
The second album which is up for sale here was originally released on the “Stable Records” label in 1968. This major label (made and distributed by PYE) is very collectable and most known by the legendary “Sam Gopal” album.
The music on the album is great. Typical UK psych from the late 60’s! A lovely time piece!
