We have managed to find another copy of the super rare earliest stamper 1st pressing of “Kaleidoscope – Faintly Blowing”! Now up for sale again on our website! This is really unique!
A mega rare psych rarity on the highly collectable “Fontana” label. The vinyl of this copy is really nice but it has the well known watermark. On this copy the watermark is very slightly audible (very faint haze). By far the most copies makes an haze sound. Further the vinyl plays without many issues. It was very carefully play graded by us. There is a light crackle here and there on the very beginning and run-out on both sides and between tracks. The music overpowers some crackle without any problem. Overall we grade the disc EX. The labels are lovely and show only a few spindle traces. The vinyl surface shows only a few very tiny lines caused by the inner sleeve and off course the known watermark.
The sleeve is a EX to EX+ copy. The fragile cover is often a bit bumpy due to the shrunken laminate. This one is nice and flat.The used cardboard is as thin as a thick paper. A bad combination of used materials makes this album super fragile.
The corners are nice. The top left corner shows a bit of wear.
The spine is nice and fully readable and only shows a very small defect near the word “Fontana”.
The opening is nice and mostly sharpt. The inside is lovely.
The back of the sleeve is also really nice with only some minor wear at the bottom left corner. The bottom of the sleeve shows minor storage wear.
Further the sleeve is fully intact without tears or writing. This copy comes with the original correct polylined inner sleeve.
Overall we have here a lovely EX/EX copy of the mega rare pre-release issue. This might be your chance to get a clean copy. It could take years before another copy shows up.

About this record.
Kaleidoscope is a well known UK pop/psych band and much loved by many collectors. For the most this second album is Kaleidoscope at it’s best. The music is typical UK late 60’s pop/psych. Well arranged songs. A good singer and well experienced musicians.
In our opinion 2 songs really jumps out. First is the opener “Faintly Blowing” and the final track “Music”. Especially Music is great with awesome sound psychedelic effects!
After “Faintly Blowing”, Kaleidoscope emerged into “Fairfield Parlour. Fairfield Parlour released one album called “From Home to Home” on the legendary Vertigo Swirl label. This was a very good album but does not reach the quality of “Faintly Blowing”.
I want more information about this record.
