Here we have a lovely copy of the third studio album by “Idle Race”. It is a UK 1st pressing in stunning condition. It is hard to find a cover like this from this album nowadays.
The disc of this very copy is in NM condition. “Regal Zonophone” made a true quality pressing back in the days. The disc is playgraded and plays without any distortion. There is only some minor crackle here and there probably caused by the pressing which is completely normal. It is an very enjoyable album to listen.
The vinyl looks really shiny without major lines, scratches and other nasty marks. The labels are also really clean. There is no writing and there only a very few tiny spindle traces. This prooves this record has not seen many record players.
The cover of the album is in EX condition. The cover is always the problem when it comes to this album.
The unlaminated textured flipback cover with complete black background makes this cover almost impossible to find in good shape.
The front of the cover is in ok condition. There is no writing, tears, creases and stains. There is only some slight storage wear near the edges and corners (as always). The spine of the cover is intact and fully readable. Also the opening is nice.
The back of the cover is the biggest problem when it comes to this album. This very copy is much better compared to most copies. There is only the slightest of ring and some minimal age wear near the corners and edges. This copy could be a keeper for many serious record collectors.

About this record.
“Idle Race” is a UK pop/psych band from Germany. The band was formed in the 1960’s in Birmingham UK. THe band released three albums and a couple of singles. Improtant to know is, Jeff Lyne (later ELO) was active on the first and second album.
Time is, was the third album by the band and we think it was their best.
The music on this album a lovely collection of typical UK pop/psych. If you are a fan of UK pop/psycch from the late 60’s this is an album not to be missed.
