What we have here is a beautiful copy of the mega rare psych gem from the UK called Arcadium – Breathe Awhile.
The disc of this copy is a bit hard to grade. Visual the record looks like new. Also the labels are near perfect with just a few spindle traces. It is known that “Middle Earth” pressings (made and distributed by Pye Records) are not the best in the world. This record has some background/crackle during playtime which is very common for this release. Side 1 at the beginning has more background. There is a small mark at the beginning of side 1 causing a light pop at very first bars. Nothing serious but we have to mention it. Later during the play the background is nearly gone. Overall we must say this is a lovely disc in NM shape but due to the pressing background we have to grade EX to be on the safe side.
The sleeve is in EX+ condition. Simply lovely for a record of this age. The front of the fully laminated sleeve is amazing with only some aging near the edges. The opening is great and also the spine is lovely and fully readable. Also the back is very nice with only some browning near the edges. Overall nothing serious.
This copy comes with the original and correct polylined inner sleeve.
This record was part of my personal collection for many years and I enjoyed it a lot but not spinning it very often anymore so I think it desirves a spot in a collection of a serious rare record collector.

About this record.
Arcadium is well known among serious record collectors. To us this is one of the very best psychedelic rock acts from the UK during The Golden Era!! The album was released in 1969 on the legendary but very tiny “Middle Earth” label which also released “Writing on the Wall”. Middle Earth was a legendary London based club offering tons of known and unknown bands a stage to perform during The Golden Era. Many legendary performances has taken place at Middle Earth in London.
The music on “Breathe Awhile” is very psychedelic with acid influences. The production is a bit poor but somehow that is giving the music an extra dimension. Take a seat, grab a beer and enjoy a 40 minute trip full of exciting psych tunes. What an album!!!
