Rarity Scale: Mega Rare
A mega rare album on the Bel-Ami records label. A true American psych classic.
For the vinyl we made two grading this time. Visual the vinyl is no more than VG. There are a lot of lines and other blemishes on the vinyl surface. But strangely the vinyl plays EX! We can say that this is not the best pressing ever but the music is sharp and very enjoyable. There is some background during the more quiet parts but it never overpowers the music. The labels have some spindle traces and there is a name written on the side 2 label. Overall we grade the sleeve VG+ to be on the safe side.
We grade the sleeve a good EX. The single sleeve is made with thick cardboard as we see with almost all the American issues from the period. There is only minor wear. The front looks awesome with minor wear near the edges and corners. The spine is fully intact and have no splits. The back had minimal ring wear. The bottom of the sleeve has a small split. Nothing serious.

Majic Ship is an American psych band formed in New York. The band was born out of “The Primitives”, a garage band fromed in 1966 in New York City. The band had 5 members.
After releasing some singles and touring a lot, the band managed to record an album. After releasing their debut, they had plans to release another album. But unfortunately this never happened because their house in Staten Island (NY) burned to the ground with all their equipment inside. This happened in 1971. They were not insured so they literally lost their whole recording equipment en instruments. After this tragedy the band disbanded.
The music on “Majic Ship” is typical American hard rock/psych with great guitar work, good vocals, awesome drum work and good vocals. Overall a piece not to be missed by the true psych collectors.
