Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
As many collectors know, specific copies of “Beatles” albums became very collectable nowadays. An original copy of the 1970 UK original Boxset from the “Let It Be” album is such a collectable Beatles rarity.
The disc of this very copy is in EX to EX+ condition. It is lovely and plays without any distortion. Only a tiny bit of crackle at the very beginning and run-out of both sides (pressing). A visual inspection shows some tiny hairlines on both sides but all of them are inaudible.
Both labels are very clean and contains only a very few spindle traces on both sides.
The this laminated outside box cover is in EX- condition. The laminate is completely intact and shows only minor wear near the edges. Overall this copy survives much better compared to most. The inside box cover which provides room for the book and record is also in EX- condition. It has a bit of wear but most important, it is complete! The flaps are very nice with only a very minor tear on one flap.
The book is in EX condition. All the pages are there. The spine of the book is perfect but the glue holding the pages is a bit dry which causes at bit of loss of the strength.
The sleeve is in EX condition. The laminated single sleeve is in near perfect order with only the slightest of wear near the edges and corners. The spine is in perfect order and fully readable. Also the opening is nice and sharp.
This copy comes with an original inner sleeve.

Everybody knows “The Beatles” and also the “Let It Be” album needs no introduction.
The copy up for sale here is the original 1st pressing Boxset limited edition of the album released in 1970. The set came with the 1st press record with laminated sleeve and red apple “Apple Records” cover. Also an 164 pages book was included. All was housed in a very fragile outside laminated box cover and black cardboard inner tray which has space for the book and the record.
Most copies of this specific issue are trashed. Especially the tray is extremely fragile and is almost always destroyed if the book was kept inside the tray. We are lucky we found a copy in this lovely order. It doesn’t pop-up every day nowadays.
This Boxset is essential for every serious “Beatles” collector.
