Rarity Scale – Very Rare
The “HAT” album by Davy Graham became very rare nowadays and only rarely shows up for sale. especially in this condition. The copy up for sale is an UK Decca 1st stereo pressing.
The disc of this copy is in EX- condition. The visual grading is EX- to EX. The vinyl surface looks very nice but has some very tiny hairlines caused by taking the disc in and out of the inner sleeve. The music plays loud and clear with only some slicht background at the beginning and run-out of both sides and here and there between the more quiet parts in the music. Overall the music lovely. The late 60’s Decca pressing is a true quality pressing. The labels are clean with only a few spindle traces on both sides.
The sleeve is a good EX- condition. The front laminated single sleeve shows minor age wear but is fully intact. The front of the cover is nice with a few creases. Nothing really serious. The laminate is intact but shows in clear light some minor ring wear. The spine is fully intact and fully readable. The opening is really nice with only some very minor wear.
The very fragile back of the sleeve is fully intact. No tears, no writing and no other nasty defects. It only shows some beginning ring wear. The mono/stereo round indicator on the back is fully intact.
This copy comes with the correct original Decca stereo inner sleeve.

Davy Graham (David Michael Gordon Graham) lived a long musical life and released a lot of work during the late 60’s, 70’s and later the 90’s and even 00’s. He was born in late November 1940 in Leicester England. He died on December 15th 2008.
He was an English singer/songwriter and fantastic acoustic guitarist. The music he made is all Folk but in different specific styles on his albums. He brought jazz influences into the music and also worked with Mexican, Arabic and Indian influences. This makes his music unique in its own way.
If you like UK Folk this album is something for you!! It’s a keepers copy for most collectors of a very rare and highly collectable UK Folk album.
