Here we have one of my absolute favourite Italian progressive rock albums, called “Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso”. We’ve found a copy in almost impossible to find condition. What a beauty!!
The disc of this copy is in lovely EX+ to NM condition. What a stunning disc this is!! It is not the best pressing ever, but this disc plays stunning. It has some crackle here and there due to the pressing/vinyl quality but it plays without major issues like pops, ticks and skips. It’s a super enjoyable disc! Both labels are super clean with only one or two spindle traces on both sides. The vinyl surface shows minimal lines but all of them are inaudible.
And then we have the sleeve!! What an amazing copy. It took a long time to find a copy in this condition!
It is fully intact and there are no major stains, tears and creases. The edges of the shaped gatefold cover has some minimal edge wear due to storage, but that’s it! The front, back and inside are lovely. No ringwear!!
Even the super fragile small spine is fully intact.

“Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso”. What an debut album. In the Italian Progressive Rock scene this is an not to be missed gem. For many a holy grail of the genre!
The group is mentioned of one of the most important and influencial groups within the genre. The band is still active today but was formed around 1968 in Italy.
Their debut (released in 1972), second album “Darwin” and third album “Lo Sono Nato Libero” are all masterpieces. If you want to have a good introduction into the genre, please listen to the album up for sale here!
The music on the album carries traditional Italian progressive rock. Complicated and dramatic! with fantastic keyboard, voices, guitar and drums. It has all the elements you hope to hear on an Italian prog album from The Golden Era!
The copy here for sale is an original 1st pressing with the oversized shaped money box cover. Incredible design and almost impossible to find in lovely condition.
