Here we have a fantastic copy of the mega rare Italian prog album “Astrolabio” by “Garybaldi”.
The disc of this copy is really nice! The music plays absolutely loud and clear. Super enjoyable. I clean playing disc is really important for this specific album because of the many more quiet passages in the music. A lot of background and crackle will destroy the atmosphere of the music. The vinyl surface looks with only a few tiny inaudible hairlines. Nothing serious but we must mention it. The labels are nice and clean with minimal spindle traces.
Besides of the EX+ condition, this is a very well recorded album on quality vinyl. It sounds really good.
The sleeve of this album is in EX to EX+ condition. The laminated gatefold cover shows only minor storage wear on the outside and inside. There are no major creases, stains and tears. The spine is fully intact and also the opening looks nice for such an old copy. The laminate looks a bit dull (storage and age).
The inside of the cover is lovely. Overall it is a super nice copy of a highly collectable Italian progressive masterpiece!

About this record.
“Garybaldi” was an Italian heavy progressive rock act from Italy and were active in the early 70’s, 90’s and 00’s.
The band emerged out of “Gleemen” which released the fantastic psych/prog masterpiece “Gleemen” in 1970. During the 70’s after “Garybaldi” the group first changed into “Bambibanda E Melodie” and released one album in 1974. In the 90’s the group brought new life into “Gerybaldi”.
During The Golden Era of progressive rock the group released 2 albums: “Nuda” and “Astrolabio”. Both albums are true collector pieces among collectors of the Italian progressive rock scene.
As you probably know “Astrolabio” is the second album released by the band. The albums contains 2 long tracks. And in the progressive rock scene this means it must be good;-). The album is dominated by complex progressive semi-instrumental music (typical Italian) with heavy guitar work. Simply amazing!!
