Here we have a near perfect copy of the debut album by Alan Sorrenti called “Aria”. This album pops up very rarely nowadays. In absolutely diserves a place within a serious Italian Progressive Rock collection.
The disc of this copy is in EX+ condition. This is a conservative grade fully based on the visual inspection. The audio grading is M-. It plays lovely! The vinyl surface shows a few scuffs and minimal hairlines caused by the thick paper custom inner sleeve. Lovely inner, but it will destroy your record if you keep the disc in it. Both labels are perfect with no spindle traces.
The sleeve is in M- shop fresh condition. The fragile dark coloured textured gatefold is like new! Sharp corners and edges, perfect spine and opening. Also the back and inside of the cover is perfect. It is hard to find a better copy. The custom inner is also in M- condition.
Overall a near perfect copy of a very Italian Progressive rock album!

About this record.
Not the easiest album to listen like more Italian progressive gems but musically this debut album by Alan Sorrenti is really nice!! If you don’t know it, it probably take some time to get into the vocals. The constrution of the tracks and especially “ARIA” are really good!! True Italian progressive rock with Folk and maybe some Psych influences here and there.
The album was released in 1972 on the Italian equivalent of EMI Harvest which released a couple of fantastic Italian prog albums during the Golden Era.
Alan Sorrenti, born in December 1950 in Naples (Italy) was an Italian singer and composer. He released quite a few albums during his career which started in the early 70’s. He released his last work around the year 2006.
