Here we have an original UK 1st pressing of the legendary UK beat/psych album “Get The Picture?” by “The Pretty Things”. Finding nice copies of this fantastic album is getting harder every day.
The disc of this album looks less good then it actually plays. The plays mostly EX to EX+ with only some mild crackle here and there. No major pops, ticks or other nasty defects. Becides some crackle here and there, the disc plays loud and clear.
Visual, the disc looks less. It has a few bit more serious hairlines here and there but none of them are audible. The disc is made of thick quality 60’s vinyl. Great pressing! Both textured labels are clean with only some spindle traces on both sides. Because of the visual grade we downgrade it to EX-. For most collectors this is a true keepers copy.
The thick cardboard fron laminated single sleeve is in EX condition. The front looks fantastic with only some minimal age wear which is almost not visible. Small storage wear on the bottom right corner.
The spine is fully intact and fully readable. The opening is nice and sharp for its age.
The back of the sleeve has a minor crease on the top left corner. According to us, nothing serious. Further it only show some browning (age wear) near the edges. Overall this is a very nice sleeve and much better compared to most copies we have seen during the years.
This copy comes with an original polylined inner sleeve.

Off course everybody knows “The Pretty Things”. This legendary UK psych band released many amazing psychedelic albums during The Golden Era.
The band started in 1963 and released their early albums on the legendary “Fontana” label. Later albums were released in “Columbia” and “EMI Harvest”.
“Get The Picture” is an legendary R&B album with psych influences, released in 1965. The music is typical UK 60’s R&B with some psych influences. Fantastic to listen if you are into R&B tunes from the mid 60’s. Many will love this album!
Their absolute best albums came in 1968 called “S.F. Sorrow”. This is one of the very best UK psychedelic albums. Also “Parachute” released in 1970 on “EMI Harvest” is a favourite albums among collectors of the genre.
