Rarity Scale – Very Rare
Here we have a lovely copy of the “Mixed Bag” album by “The Troggs”. Released in 1968 on the UK “Page One” label. This specific pressing became very rare nowadays and the most collectable issue of this album.
We grade the disc EX- which is fully based on the visual inspection. Side 1 and Side 2 both shows a scuff and a few hairlines. If we do a full listening grade, we grade the disc EX to EX+. The music plays loud and clear with no major defects like pops, ticks and skips. In only has some very minor crackle here and there and a bit more at the very beginning of both sides (pressing). It is a lovely disc but visual it looks a bit worse. Overall is this a true keepers copy for most collectors.
The sleeve is in good EX condition. It is fully intact. The front laminated flipback single sleeve has a near perfect front. It only has a few minor creases near the opening and near the spine. The laminate is fully intact!! The spine is near perfect and fully readable. The edges and corners are really nice!!
The unlaminated is amazing with no ring wear. It only has some age wear. The flips are nice with only some minor storage wear.
This copy comes with the correct original inner sleeve.
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

Off course everybody knows “The Troggs”! The famous UK pop/psych group from the UK started in the 60’s.
The band was formed in 1964 in Andover, Hapshire, England. The band had four members: Reg Presley (vocals), Peter Staples (Bass), Chris Britton (Guitar) and Ronnie Bond (Drums).
The band released quite a few albums and other work like live albums. “Mixed Bag” was released in 1968 and still has the typical UK psych tunes but overall they are a bit more grown up compared to their very first work which was a bit more beat-influenced.
“Mixed Bag” as an original UK 1st pressing on “Page One” became very rare nowadays, especially in the condition this copy is.
