A large selection of rare vinyl records from the golden era.
Most collectors with a focus on the late 60’s psych scene, know this album very well. Among with Kaleidoscope and Pussy, this album is one of the rarest UK pop/psych classics from the late 60’s.
If you want to hear typical English psych from the late 60’s, this album is something for you! Great pop/psych songs which are made by the one album band “The Open Mind”. The band was originally called “The Apaches” and “The Drag Set” but eventually called “The Open Mind”. The band has four members. Mike Brancaccio, and Terry Martin are on vocals and guitar, Timothy du Feu plays bass and Phil Fox is on drums.
Besides this album the band released some singles and EP’s around the same time. There most famous and best song is “Magic Potion”. It was released as a 7” inch record in 1969 but unfortunately never came on the album.
This is considered as an important piece of the UK psych era together with albums like “The Fox” and both “Kaleidoscope” albums.
After the release of this album the band disappeared from the stage.
