Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
Here we have a very nice copy of the Canadian Folk Rock outfit “The Other Half”. A very well crafted album which became very scarce nowaday!
The disc of this album is in EX condition. The viny still have its nice sheen but shows a few marks on side 2. We did a very carefull playgrade but the marks are not audible. During playtime there is some background crackle here and there but none of them are overpowering the music. The labels of the disc are beautiful with no spindle traces. We do think this disc has not seen many record players.
The sleeve is also in EX condition. The thick cardboard single sleeve still has its shrink. near the edges and corners there is some browning visible.
The front of the cover is fully intact. No major creases, stains, tears and writing. The Spine is fully intact. The opening is nice.
The back of the cover is also really nice but has some browning near the edges and corners.

There is not much known about the Canadian Folk Rock group “The Other Half”. We know the band was formed in Manitoba (Canada) around 1968. The group had 4 members. Dan Peteit played bass, Dave Burkhat played organ,Tim Dogman played lead guitar and Brent drums. The group released only one album. After the release the band went into obscurity.
We are not exactly sure how many copies were pressed of this Canadian private pressing album. We do think it is super rare because this is the first time we have it in our hands and havn’t seen it for many years. Even at the record fair in Utrecht it is super hard to find.
The music is Folk Rock with some psychedelic leanings. It is great!!
