The disc of this copy is in absolute prestine condition. The record plays without any issues with only the slightest background at the very beginning and run-out of the sides (pressing). The playback is loud and clear without any issues. An amazing pressing and recording!! Also the labels are clean with NO spindle traces at all! Amazing. The sleeve is also in lovely order. It is near perfect! The front of unlaminated gatefold is amazing with only some minor stains, but nothing serious. The spine is perfect and fully readable. The opening is sharp! The corners and edges of the sleeve are in lovely condition.
Also the inside of the gatefold is near perfect! The back of the cover has a minor damage near the bottom of the sleeve and has a few minor aging stains. Overall we grade this sleeve EX+.
This copy comes with the original inner sleeve in EX condition!

Metamorfosi was an Italian progressive rock band from Rome Italy. The singer Jimmy Spitaleri was from the Italian island “Sicily”.
The band was born in 1969 and began their journey in Rome. Their first album “…E Fu Il Sesto Giorno” was from 1971 and already contained the elements which typifies the Italian prog scene from the early seventies but still with some 60’s influences. Amazing drum work, good Italian vocals, heavy organ, all very well constructed!
Their second album “Inferno” from 1973 is considered to be their masterpiece! Which really is according to our taste. To us “Inferno” by “Metamorfosi” is one of the best Italian progressive rock albums from The Golden Era together with “Museo Rosenbach” and “Alphataurus”! The album has the very best of everything Italian prog has to offer!
A third album with the name “Paradiso” was written by the band but never recorded during the early 70’s. It had to take till 2004 before this album was released.
In the last couple of years the band has released a live album (2011) and a studio album (2014).
