Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
Here we have an amazing copy of Affinity! One of the very best releases on the mighty Vertigo Swirl label. IMO one of the best jazzrock albums from the UK!
The disc of this copy is in NM condition. The vinyl surface looks lovely and it plays fantastic with only the slightest of crackle at the very beginning and run-out of both sides (pressing). This must be one of the best copies around! It’s getting really hard to find such clean copies as this one! Both labels look fantastic and are in lovely condition. they only have a few tiny spindle traces on both sides.
The sleeve is in EX+ to NM condition. The very fragile unlaminated gatefold sleeve shows no major defects like stains, tears, creases and other nasty defects.
The front is in near perfect condition with only the slightest of storage wear near the edges. The back of the cover is also lovely with only the slightest wear near the edges. The spine is lovely and fully readable. The opening is nice and sharp. Also the inside is lovely with only some slight wear probably due to its age. Overall nothing serious.
This is a true keepers copy for almost every rare record collector. A stunning beauty!!
This copy comes with an original Swirl inner sleeve.
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

Damn, what an album is this! This must be one of the best releases on the Vertigo Swirl labels and embodies the type of music and musicianship where Vertigo stoot for back in the days!
The album was released in early 1970 and became the 4th release in the legendary 6360 series.
The band “Affinity” was the jazzrock outfit around Linda Hoyle. The band was very talented and managed to release an album with a beautiful collection of tracks like “I Am And So Are You”, “I Wonder If I Care So Much” and do not forget the fantastic cover of “All Along The Watchtower.
Linda Hoyle also released a solo album which is one of the most valuable Vertigo releases of them all. That album was released in 1971.
After the release of this album “Affinity” almost immediately disappeared into obscurity. Unbelievable this album was completely ignored back in 1970.
Nowadays this album is one of the most collectable Vertigo Swirl releases in prices are going high for clean copies. It became a mega rare album.
