Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
Here we have a beautiful EX+/EX+ copy of the only album made by “Sweet Slag”. Finding copies with nice intact sleeves with no ringwear became super hard nowadays!
The disc of this very copy is in NM condition. The vinyl surface looks amazing with a shop fresh full sheen. There are no major lines, scuffs and other nasty defects. It also plays super nice with only some minimal crackle at the beginning and run-out of both sides. The labels are super clean with no spindle traces at all.
The sleeve is in super nice EX+ condition. The super fragile textured paper thin single sleeve only shows minor storage wear near the bottom right and left corner, but that’s minimal.
The top right corner has a minor crease. The top left corner has a minor ding. The spine is in lovely condition and fully readable. The opening is nice and sharp. The back of the sleeve is absolutely amazing with no ringwear at all. It’s one of the best copies I have ever seen!
This copy comes with an original plain white inner sleeve. Probably the correct one.
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

“Sweet Slag – Tracking With Close-Ups” is a fantastic UK progressive rock album with psychedelic and jazzy elements. A lovely album and a not to be missed gem for the true UK progressive rock collector! Finding copies in the condition like this is, became very hard.
This album was the only album released by the group. It was released in 1971 on the UK based label “President”. The disc was pressed at PYE.
The music on the album is a unique mixture of UK progressive rock with jazzy and psych elements. A very own sound only roduced by “Sweet Slag”. It is a shame this group was not picked up by the public back in the days. The absolutely desirved to release a second album!
