Rarirt Scale – Very Rare
The very first UK pressing from the famous American outfit “Iron Butterfly”. It has the 1-1-1 stamper which makes this the very first batch produced of this famous album in the UK!
The disc of this very copy is in EX+ condition. It plays with only minimal background here and there (pressing) but overall it plays without any issues at all. The labels have a few spindle traces and some very tiny stains but further they are immaculate.
The sleeve of this copy is in lovely EX condition. The front has on the top left corner a tiny bit of sticker residue. Near the opening there are a few banana creases. The spine is perfect and fully readable. The opening is sharp. Really nice!
The back of the front laminated single cover has some minimal ringwear.
Overall we must say this is a very nice copy of a true classic gem every serious record collector must have in his or her collection!
This copy comes with the original polylined inner sleeve.

“Iron Butterfly” was an American psychedelic rock band. The band was born in 1966 in San Diego (California).
The band had the following line-up during their best period:
Doug Ingle on Organ and Lead Vocals (1966-71), Ron Bushy on Drums and Percussion, Lee Dorman on Bass and Backing vocals, Erik Brann on Guitars, Backing vocals and Occasional Lead vocal (1967-69), Mike Pinera on Guitar and Vocals (1969-71) and Larry “Rhino” Reinhardt on Guitar (1969-71).
“In-A-GAdda-Da-Vida” is the debut album by the group and by far their most famous. The music has the typical American psychedelic sound from the late 60’s. LOVELY!!
This album was released in a MONO and STEREO version. The copy up for sale is a stereo issue.
