Rarity Scale: Mega Rare
A great English act which was first released in Germany and 2 years later in the UK.
This copy of this legendary album has a beautiful disc. Overall we grade it NM. It plays without any distortion. The pressing is simply great with only the slightest of background at the very beginning (pressing).
The labels are clean and like new with no spindle traces at all.
The sleeve is in nice EX condition. The laminated sleeve is fully intact. The front sleeve has some ring wear and tiny creases near the edges. The opening is a bit rough but nothing serious. The back is a tiny bit discoloured and also near the opening a bit rough. The spine is intact but has a small split. Most of the spine is readable.
Overall this is a lovely copy of a very rare album. This German pressing is a bit more common compared to the UK version which is hyper rare.

A large selection of rare vinyl records from the golden era.
Steel Mill was a British progressive outfit formed in the early 70’s. It was very hard for Steel Mill to gain success in the UK because of all the competition of UK progressive bands during the early 70’s. Therefore they tried to have success abroad. This worked and their album was first released in Germany in 1972 on the “Penny Farthing/Bellaphon” label.
Two years later the album was also released in the UK with almost the same artwork.
The band had 5 members, Dave Morris (Keyboards, vocals and writing), John Challenger (writing and Woodwind), Jeff Watts (Bass), Chris Martin (Drums), Terry Williams (guitar). The beautiful artwork was done by Helmut Wenske.
