Up for sale here is much better than usual copy of “Shocking Blue – 3rd Album”. Released in the Netherlands on “Pink Elephant” in 1971.
The disc is difficult to grade. The vinyl shows some lines but they are not audible. There is some minor crackle here and there but all the music plays loud and clear! Overall I grade it VG+ to EX- based on its visual looks.
The sleeve is in nice EX condition. The flimsy outside laminated gatefold is fully intact with only minor storage wear and very faint ring on the back. The front shows a minor crease near the opening. The spine and opening are lovely.

Everybody knows “Shocking Blue”. The worldwide succesfull band from The Hague (The Netherlands) made quite a few fantastic albums. This 3rd Album is less known but nevertheless a fantastic album. Really difficult to find in decent shape as a true Dutch 1st pressing. This copy is a true 1st press with black, pink lettering “Pink Elephant” labels. A rare piece nowadays.
