Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
“Revival” is the second album released by the legendary Dutch beat group “Q65” What an hammer album this is!
The disc of this abum is in EX- condition. Overall the disc plays M- but on side 2 there are a few tiny pops. Nothing serious but need to mention it. The EX- grading is conservative. The disc still has its nice shop fresh sheen with some minor marks here are there. None of the marks are audible, the small pops on side 2 excepted.
Both labels are lovely with only a few spindle traces. No writing or other major defects. Lovely!
The sleeve is in EX condition. The very fragile Dutch made single flipback sleeve is fully intact but shows some wear. The corners are not perfect and show some wear due to the age. The spine is fully intact and readable which is very nice. The opening of the sleeve is OK.
The back of the sleeve shows some signs of wear but overall nothing serious. The flips are intact and in OK condition with only some minor age and storage wear.

Many record collectors of albums from The Golden Era are familair with “Q65”. The legendary Dutch psych/beat band released 4 legendary albums during The Golden Era. “Revival” is the second album by the band from The Hague.
“Q65” was formed in 1965 in The Hague (The Neterherlands). In The Netherlands the group made success early in their career. The band is considered one of the most succesful and influential groups, the beat movement from The Hague brought us. In The Netherlands, the beat movement from The Hague was huge. Q65 managed to create a large group of fans inside the small country.
Also outside The Netherlands the band made some minor success but never as big as in The Netherlands.
The sound of their early albums was beat/R&B. They covered famous tracks from the Rythem and Blues and created own work. Their later albums changed their sound more into a combinaton of blues rock and psychedelic rock which fitted perfectly in the time when these albums were released.
As said, “Revival” is their second abum and was released in 1969 on the collectable “Decca” label. This album is a must have for every serious record collector with a focus on Dutch groups from The Golden Era!
