Rarity Scale – Very Rare
Up for sale is a lovely EX+/EX copy of Samurai. Released in 1971 and one of my top UK Jazz Rock albums!
The disc of this very copy plays amazing. All the music plays loud and clear with only minimal crackle there and there during tracks and at the beginning and run-out of both sides. The music plays fantastic. The vinyl shows very nice with only a few inaudible hairlines.
Both labels are really clean with no spindle traces.
The sleeve is in EX condition. The delicate outside laminated gatefold is fully intact. The laminate is lovely and only shows minor wear near the the edges and spine (please check the photos).
The spine is intact and fully readable buit shows minor age wear. The back shows some very minor ringwear.
The opening is nice and sharp and also the inside is lovely with only minor age wear.
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

A large selection of rare vinyl records from the golden era.
Many serious collectors of rare progressive rock from the 70’s knows this LP. Emerged out of “The Web” which released three amazing albums. This album “Samurai” was created by the line-up of Web – I Spider with an added sax player. “Samurai” was a one album band and released only “Samurai” in 1971 on the “Greenwich Gramophone Company”, distributed by Decca.
After this album, the band went into obscurity.
