Here we have a super nice NM/EX+ copy of the first German pressing of the UK mega rarity “Megaton”. The copy up for sale here is a promo copy.
The disc looks absolutely stunning. The vinyl surface is perfect with no defects at all. The playback is lovely. All the music plays loud and clear. Also the labels are perfect with no spindle traces at all.
The fully laminated single sleeve is in EX+ condition. The front is lovely with only a super tiny bumb near the top right corner. The back of the sleeve shows a few tiny creases. Nothing serious at all. The spine is perfect and fully readable. The opening is lovely. It only has a super tiny bumb. Again nothing serious.

About this record.
Megaton is a well known UK Heavy Rock album from 1971. The album was originally released in a few countries like the UK, Germany and several Latin American countries. The UK Deram release is extremely rare and super expensive. The German 1st issue is much more affordable.
The music on the album is typical Heavy Rock (Hardrock). Maybe the UK issue is too expensive when you listen to the music, but this German issue is a great compromise.
