Rarity Scale – Very Rare
Up for sale is a stunning copy of a 2nd original UK pressing of the legendary beat album by The Graham Bond Organization, called There’s A Bond Between Us. This specific issue cam out in 1966. The 1st press was released in 1965. Finding albums of this hammer is getting really difficult nowadays.
We can be short about the disc. It’s in NM condition. The record still has its shine like it was bought yesterday. Overall it looks almost like new with only a few super tiny inaudible lines caused by the original inner. Both labels are superb with only a few very tiny spindle traces. This shows, this record hasn’t seen many players during its long life. The playback of the album is superb. It plays NM from start to finish with only the slightest crackle at the very beginning and run-out of both sides (pressing).
The sleeve is in EX condition. The fragile front laminated flip-back is fully intact. The laminate is nice. Spine is lovely and fully readable. The opening is nice and sharp. On the back the sleeve shows some age stains. Further it’s lovely with no major defects. All three flips are lovely and fully intact.
This copy comes with the original EMI inner sleeve.

The Graham Bond Organization needs no further introduction. For me this album and “Sound of ’65” is the absolute top moment for Graham Bond. Both albums are legendary UK Beat albums IMHO.
Formed in the mid 60’s “The Graham Bond Organization” was a group of 4 musicians almost everybody knows. Graham Bond, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker and Dick Heckstall-Smith (briliant UK Saxophonist and composer).
The group released 2 albums “Sound of ’65” and “There’s A Bond Between Us”. Both fantastic albums with no fillers. Nowadays both albums are getting very hard to find. Especially in decent shape. We feel lucky we are able we now can offer both albums on our website.
