Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
Here we have an fantastic copy of “Fuzzy Duck”. The heavy progressive rock gem from 1971 with loads of fuzz guitars! Finding this album in this condtion has become incredible hard nowadays.
We can be short about the disc. It is in NM condition. This album plays like it was bought yesterday. All the music plays loud and clear with minimal crackle (pressing). It is amazing for such an old album! The disc shows no nasty defects. Both labels are super clean with only one or two spindle traces which prooves this album hasn’t seen many record players in its life.
The sleeve of this copy is in EX+ to NM condition. It looks amazing. The front laminated single sleeve has a near perfect front. The laminate is shiny. There are no tears, stains and creases. Also the spine is lovely and fully readable. The opening is nice and sharp. The back of the cover shows minor storage wear and some minimal ring. But that’s it! To find a sleeve of this album in this condition can take you many years!

A large selection of rare vinyl records from the golden era.
“Fuzzy Duck” is a wonderfull UK heavy progressive rock album by the band “Fuzzy Duck”. The outfit only released one album. Fuzzy Duck was released in 1971. The group was formed in 1970 in London. Besides this album the group also released two singles on the same label. MAM stands for “Management Agency Music” and was owned by Gordon Mills.
MAM released music under the the mothercompany “Decca”. Most of the albums were pressed in the Decca pressing plant. Also “Fuzzy Duck” was pressed in Decca pressing machines.
There are stories this album was only pressed in 500 copies. I strongly believe this is not true. Eventhough it is mega rare and nowbody knows how many there are still around, this still was a major label issue. Knowing this fact we can be sure this album must be pressed in minimal 2000 to 3000 copies back in 1971.
The music on Fuzzy Duck is heavy rock with progressive influences. sometimes it goes a bit to Deep Purple. Every lover of UK progressive rock from the Golden Era must listen to this album. It’s a true gem!
