Rarity Scale: Mega Rare
A mega rare progressive rock album on the legendary RCA Neon label.
he disc is in a lovely Near Mint condition. Both sides have a beautiful playback with only minimal crackle at the very beginning and run-outs (pressing). Further the music is loud and clear. It is getting very hard to find copies of this album in this condition. On the B-side label there is a small number writter but further both labels are like new. No spindle traces are found on the labels prooves this album hasn’t seen many turntables.
The sleeve is in VG+ condition. It is fully intact but has some wear near the edges. The bottom of the sleeve is a bit worn. The spine is intact and fully readable. The opening is lovely. The back has some ring wear, but nothing serieus. It also has some minor glue residue on the back and there is a small number written on the backside. The inside of the gatefold looks lovely but has a number written in the top richt corner.
This album comes with it’s original black Neon inner sleeve.

The Running Man is a one album band formed in 1971. In 1972 the band managed to release this album on the tiny but now legendary RCA Neon label. It was the last album released in the UK on this label. It is also one of the very rarest albums together with Raw Material “Time is”.
The music is very progressive with some jazz and experimental influences. The songs are well crafted with good vocals and lovely musicianship. There music has something in common with label collegues “Ton Ton Macoute” and “Catapilla” when it comes to the jazz influences but the more rocky parts are very unique. Here and there we hear some fuzz guitars which we adore!
Overall we must say this is a unique and very good album. A must listen for every early UK progressive rock lover who not walks away for some jazz influences.
