Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
Up for sale here is a beautiful EX+/EX copy of Steel Mill. This is the highly collectable and much rare UK pressing from 1975. Originally the album was released in 1971 in Germany but the UK pressing is much more wanted.
The disc is in lovely EX+ condition. It has the red translucent vinyl often seen with PYE discs. It plays and looks amazing with no nasty defects. Only a very small crackle here and there (pressing). Further the disc is amazing. Like it was bought yesterday. Both labels are really clean with only a very few spindle traces on both sides. This prooves this disc has not seen many players during its long life.
The unlaminated super fragile single sleeve is in EX condition. It’s fully intact with no nasty defects. The front cover shows a few minor creases. The back of the sleeve is lovely with only a very small bumb at the bottom left corner. The spine is amazing and fully intact and readable. The opening of the sleeve is nice and sharp.
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

A large selection of rare vinyl records from the golden era.
Most collectors from the progressive rock and psych scene know this album. According to many collectors it’s one of the best prog/psych albums from the era! Originally the album was released in 1971 on the German Bellaphon label. It took till 1975 before the album was given a chance on the UK market. It was released on the Penny Farthing label. Ditributed by the mighty “PYE” label back in the day. Made on red translucent vinyl this album is easy to mark as an original.
The music on the album is fantastic. It’s a beautiful mixture of psychedelic tunes and progressive music. The musicianship is briliant. To me this is a masterpiece and a must have for every collector.
