Up for sale here is a beyond rare promo copy with unfinished proof cover of the German Garage hammer “Monks – Black Monk Time” in superb condition. An amazing time piece for the true rare record collector.
The disc with white label promo labels is in superb NM condition. It’s like it was bought yesterday. No nasty marks at all and a beautiful shine. Playgraded and it’s perfect NM as well. Beautiful playback with no nasty defects at all. Long story short, this is a top final upgrade copy.
The very flimsy paper thin unfinished proof cover is in beautiful EX+ condition. It’s fully intact which is incredible after all these years!! This must be one or maybe even the only one in this condition still around.
This specific copy of this rarity is a investment. It’s a piece of art and next to impossible to find again.
This copy comes with the correct original polylined inner sleeve.

About this record.
The Monks was a German based beat/garage outfit which only released one LP in 1966. “Black Monk Time” is concidered as one of the big grails from the German music scene in the 60’s/70’s.
The album carries a unique selection of fantastic German garage songs. Very well musicianship and fits perfectly in its time.
As said this album is very difficult to find as an original. As a promo with unfinished proof cover in such condition as this copy is next to impossible.
