Rarity Scale – Mega Rare
Here we have a super nice copy of the first album by the Norwegian outfit “Junipher Greene” called “Friendship”. Oh sooo rare nowadays!!
This is a double album on the “Sonet” label. Most “Sonet” issues are poor quality records. The used vinyl somehow often produces some background, crackles and other nasty defect. This copy on Norwegian “Sonet” sounds actually really good with only some crackle at the beginning and run-out of both sides, completely caused by the pressing. Overall all the music plays amazing which can be graded NM. The second record produces a bit more background compared to the first disc. We think this is also caused by the production of the record.
All the labels look really good and clean with only a very few spindle traces! Overall we grade both discs EX to EX+.
The sleeve is in nice EX condition. Almost all copies have the small spine damage. Also this copy has a small damage at the spine. Please take a look at the photos. The rest of the unlaminated gatefold sleeve looks near perfect. Only some very minor age/storage wear near the corners and edges. Overall nothing serious.
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

A large selection of rare vinyl records from the golden era.
“Junipher Greene” is Norwegian progressive rock group from Oslo, the capitol of Norway.
The group released 4 albums, but only 2 albums were released during The Golden Era. “Friendship” from 1971 is considered as one of the best progressive rock albums from Northern Europe and became very collectable nowadays. Especially perfect Mint copies became very expensive with prices above 1.000 Euros.
The music on the album is typical European progressive rock from the early 70’s. According to us, this is an amazing album and a must have for every serious progressive rock collector.
As said, the band released 2 albums during The Golden Era. The second album was called “Communication” and is also a very collectable Norwegian progressive rock album.
