Its all about rare vinyl!
Rarity Scale: Mega Rare
A German psych/krautrock classic in the highly collectable Bellaphon label.
A hard to grade copy. Visually the vinyl only reach VG, but when we test it the record plays mostly M-. There are a lot of hairlines. Only during the more silent passages there is more background. The labels are clean and intact. Because it plays better than the disc looks (visual VG), we grade it VG+.
The sleeve is intact but worn on the edges and corners. Further the front looks nice. The back of the fragile gatefold is also intact. There are some small creases and stains. The spine is readable but heavy worn and aged. The inside of the gatefold is intact but there are also some creases and stains and there is a bit of ring. Overall we want to grade it safe and therefore grade the sleeve as VG. It is intact but you can see it’s aged.

Jeronimo is a wonderfull German heavy/psych/kraut rock act and released 2 albums in the early 70’s on the highly collectable and respected Bellaphon label. A third album was released in 1972 on the also very collectable Bacillus Records label.
The band “Jeronimo” was founded in 1969 by 3 guys, Rainer Marz (guitar and vocals), Gunnar Schafer (bass and vocals) and Ringo Funk (drums and vocals). As a power trio they formed Jeronimo. In 1969 and 1970 they released two hits “Na Na Hey Hey” and “Heya” which brought them fame in many Europian countries. In 1970 they released their first album “Cosmic Blues” which is a heavy blues album.
Their second album “Jeronimo” is the most collectable release made by this band and also the best album to our ears. The music contains a lot of heavy hard rock style tunes with heavy guitar and great rock vocals. Very enjoyable and quality music if you are into the heavy German rock from the early 70’s.
This copy is probably not the copy for the mint enthusiasts but if you can live with the fact the record is 50 years old and therefore a bit aged, this copy is the one for you!!
The record looks a bit worse, but it plays amazing. It’s a really good pressing!
