Up for sale here is maybe the rarest Progressive Rock album from Finland. Fantastic heavy prog!
The disc of this copy is in stunning condition. Overall I grade it EX+. A keepers copy for most serious rare record collectors. The vinyl surface looks stunning with only a very few super tiny lines. None of them are audible. All the music plays loud and clear! Both labels looks really clean with only a very few spindle traces on both sides. Overall it’s a fantastic copy.
The sleeve is always the problem with this album. The thin paper single sleeve with small round opening to put your nail in to take the record out, is doomed to survive for many years. This in combination with a very fragile thin spine and brown/cream colours makes this sleeve nearly impossible to find clean. I have seen quite a few copies of this album in my life, and this one up for sale here is one of the best I have seen.
The sleeve shows minor wear near the edges and corners (storage wear). The spine is not fully readable (like always). The sleeve has no splits or other nasty defects which are often seen. Overall I grade the sleeve a conservative EX.

About this record.
Elonkorjuu is a Finnish Progressive Rock band, founded in the late 60’s in Pori. The early 70’s line-up of the group was Heikki Lajunen (singer), Eero Rantasila (drums), Veli-Pekka Pessi (bass), Jukka Syrenius (guitar) and Timo Hannukainen (guitar). This line-up made their debut album “Harvest Time” up for sale here.
The music on the album is a wonderfull mixture of heavy progressive rock tunes. IMO there are no fillers on this album. It’s rock solid from start to finish. I love it!
After this album the band had many different line-ups. The band changed their name to “Harvest” in the 70’s and made more funk/soul influenced rock. They released one album as “Harvest”, called “Flyin’ High, Runnin’ Fast”.
In the late 70’s the group disappeared from the stage till 2002. As Elonkorjuu the band returned to the stage. Their debut album was re-released and they did quite a few gigs on Finnish festivals during the years.
