Up for sale here, is probably the best copy I have ever seen of “Skid Row – Skid”, UK 1st press on CBS. The first album with Gary Moore!
We can be short about the disc. It’s amazing. Visual- and playgraded. It plays stunning like it was bought yesterday. No nasty defects like skips, jumps, ticks, major crackle and other nasty stuff. I wish all my records were in this condition. Both labels are super clean with only a very few spindle traces which shows this record hasn’t seen many players in its long life.
The sleeve is one of the cleanest I have seen. It’s terrible to find a decent sleeve of this album. The very fragile unlaminated white coloured single sleeve was never made to survive over 50 years. Most copies are completely trashed or full with dirt and age spots. This copy survived really good! It’s fully intact with no major defects. The spine is lovely. The opening really nice. The white colour shows some yellowing but it’s much, much better than usual.
This copy comes with the correct original CBS advert inner sleeve!

“Skid Row – Skid” is the first album representing Gary Moore. In 1970 at age 17 he recorded this album together with his band mates. Originally “Skid Row” is an American group. The album was released in many countries outside the United States. Also in the United Kingdom. The album up for sale here is the UK 1st press. IMHO the best issue to own of this album.
“Skid” is an fantastic Bluesrock album from start to finish with quite a few psychedelic influences. A beautiful timepiece. Fantastic vocals and guitar works! I love it!!
