Rarity Scale – Very Rare
Here we have a NM copy of the Swedish Progressive Folk Rock album “Pugh – (Ja Dä Ä Dä!)”. This album becomes very rare nowadays. Especially in this near perfect condition!!
We can be short about the disc. It plays and looks NM!! The vinyl got its full sheen like it was bought yesterday. No nasty marks can be found on the vinyl surface!! Simply amazing!! The disc plays absolutely without any distortion. Only the slightest of crackle (pressing) can be noticed at the very beginning and run-out of both sides!! The labels are like new with only one spindle trace at both sides! When it comes to condition, it doesn’t get much better for a more than 50 years old record!
Also the sleeve is in near perfect condtion. The unlaminated thin cardboard sleeve is very fragile. This copy is kept in like new condition for more than 50 years!! Amazing.
The front of the sleeve is perfect. All the corners and edges are nice and sharp. The spine is lovely. It only has one super tiny piece of print missing. This is hardly visible. The inside of the gatefold is perfect! The stapled insert is lovely! The staples are perfect and the back of the sleeve is lovely. We simple can not find more defects. This is by far the best sleeve we have ever seen of this album!
Please take a very good look at the photos to get a good impression!

Pugh – (Ja Dä Ä Dä!) is the debut album released by Anders Sture Torbjörn Rogefeldt from Sweden. He released 7 albums during the late 60’s and 70’s.
The music on this album is hard to put in one genre. Overall we say it is progressive rock with a lot of Folk and COuntry influences mixed with rock and experimental tunes! It is great!! All the vocal work is in Swedish which gives the sound a unique element.
The album was released in 1969 on the highly collectable “Metronome” which released amazing albums from German and Scandinavian bands like “Birth Control” and “Thors Hammer”. All amazing albums and must haves for the serious Kraut/progressive rock lovers!! The album up for sale is according to us not essential but a must have for every serious Northern Europe progressive rock collector.
The album up for sale is the second batch of pressings. The disc is identical to the true 1st pressing but the sleeve carries yellow lettering instead of black. The black lettering cover was immediately withdrawn after release because the text was not readable against the background. Black lettering covers are extremely rare nowadays and super expensive if you find one.
